    CEO

    Startups since the age of 14. First patent at 15. World Intellectual Property Organization Best Young Inventor 2010. Twice TEDx speaker. Co-founded Young Change Maker, a social startup that highlights inspiring individuals. Co-founded and sold a company called Sauna en Bois. Bio-engineering from Imperial College London.

    DBE FRS FREng, Advisor

    Co-inventor. Founder and Director of diverse and vibrant Stevens Group at Imperial College London and Deputy Director of the i-Sense interdisciplinary biosensing centre. Serial entrepreneur, NED experience, previous CSO and Foreign Member of the US National Academy of Engineering and of the US Academy of Arts and Sciences.

  • Adrian Moody

    Dr. Adrian Moody

    Head of Development

    An experienced technical leader in Molecular Diagnostics with a track record in developing regulated PCR applications for regulated diagnostic markets. Adrian brings 25 years of experience, having previously held equivalent roles at Qiagen and Biocartis. At Signatur Biosciences, Adrian leads all development and manufacturing operations.

  • Dr Francesca Smith

    Scientist

    Francesca received her PhD from Imperial College London under the supervision of SigBio cofounder Molly Stevens. During her PhD Francesca focussed on modelling and exploiting nucleic acid nanotechnology for disease diagnostics and prognostics. At Signatur Biosciences Francesca is working in the R&D team to aid the computational side of product development.

  • Nahimi Amare Bekele

    RA/QA Manager

    Nahimi received her MSc. in Biochemistry from the University of Geneva. Nahimi comes from a MedTech scale-up company where she worked in Regulatory Affairs. At Signatur Biosciences, she leads Quality and Regulatory activities supporting the development of clinically validated products.

  • Salvatore Jaramillo

    Research Assistant

    Sal received his BS in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Connecticut, where he investigated novel cancer pathway relationships in the development of a route-based pathway analysis framework centered on gene expression data. At Signatur Biosciences, Sal focuses on lab experimentation and data analysis/visualization.
